OUR PARTNER

People considering a career in Paducah have to be sold on the job and company, but they also have to be sold on the community. They want to know about the homes, restaurants, shops, and entertainment of the place where they might choose to live.

That means in order to grow, Paducah must have a resource where potential transplants can easily find useful information on the various aspects of life in the city. To meet this need, Partake In Paducah has announced the launch of one of four new sections of their website planned for 2019.

The first section – “Live”-  features some of Paducah’s beautiful communities, open houses, along with articles highlight various city neighborhoods. It also includes a list of prominent local realtors who will act as “City Guides” for anyone looking to move into the area.

“The ‘Live’ section will give people more information about this great community and a place to connect with our city guides,” says Brad James, Director Partake In Paducah. “The City Guides will be the real foundation of the new program. Information will only take people so far, but if we can connect those interested in Paducah with locals, they will start building relationships with those who know all about the hidden gems of our community.”

The Partake in Paducah website expansion is a part of a recruitment campaign developed in partnership with Greater Paducah Economic Development (GPED) and with the generous support of Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership (FRNP). Details of this recruitment campaign were unveiled at GPED’s annual meeting on August 17, 2018 beginning with the release of the team’s recruitment film, “Why Paducah.”

The Partake in Paducah website expansion will work in concert with the “Why Paducah” film to further boost the recruitment program. Socially Present will debut three additional sections: Eat, Play, and Shop in the coming months and, ultimately, create a site that will give potential transplants an idea of the life they could lead in Paducah.
